By Sarah Hennessey, I think that it is wonderful how she has managed to use one stitch across both of these pieces of work and then used colour to give the character, making them both different. The red piece has a heart-like quality that would make the focal point on a wall, it’s great.

I would love to make a quilt, but I’m going to be honest: I wouldn’t finish it. In all honesty, I’m a bit frenetic when it comes to my crafting. I’ll fall in love with something, do it constantly, pick something else up, go back to the first thing, find another thing… I would probably get about half way and give up. But a paper quilt. Not only would it be easy to make, but quick too (apart from cutting out the squares of course) There’s no set DIY here but you can get the idea from the picture. Design House Digital has a great selection of digital scrapbook paper that you can download and print out. This would be a really nice craft to make for a baby’s room!
